After a passenger tried to unlock the aircraft’s doors while in flight, a Japanese airliner en route to Texas from Tokyo was forced to make an emergency land in Seattle.
About nine hours after starting Saturday, all Nippon Airways (ANA) Flight 114 was diverted owing to a rowdy passenger, the airline stated in a statement.
Arriving safely at 4:19 a.m. local time, Port of Seattle Police and FBI Seattle were waiting for the jet.
Police said the media it had been notified of a male passenger attempting to open the airplane doors while it was in flight.
Police claimed the unidentified individual was under medical crisis and was being detained by other passengers and the flight crew.
Later on the man was taken to a hospital. He might or not be charged criminally.
